Staffing

The Revelstoke RCMP Detachment is led by the Detachment Commander, a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) at the rank of Staff Sergeant (S/Sgt.). The Detachment Commander is assisted by the Operations Non-Commissioned Officer at the rank of Sergeant (Sgt.) and two General Duty Team Supervisors at the rank of Corporal (Cpl.). There are 12 General Duty (GD) Constables that are posted to the Detachment.

Within the Detachment are General Duty Police Officers, Integrated Forensic Identification Services (IFIS), British Columbia Highway Patrol (BCHP) and Integrated Road Safety Unit (IRSU). The police officers are supported by administrative duties of Public Servant Employees and Municipal Employees. The Revelstoke Detachment Municipal General Duty contingent is contracted by the City of Revelstoke to provide policing services to the community.
