One man injured in stabbing

Coquitlam RCMP is investigating a stabbing that left one man injured and is asking for anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward to police.

On June 28, 2022, at 11:03 p.m., Coquitlam RCMP received a report of an altercation between two groups in the 1100-block of Johnson Street. Upon arrival to the scene, police located a 41-year-old man who had been stabbed and was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have made four arrests. No charges have been laid at this time, and therefore no names can be released. Coquitlam RCMP’s Investigational Support Team (IST) has conduct of this investigation and is currently gathering evidence. Initial indications are that this is not believed to be a random attack. There is no evidence to suggest this attack is related to any wider conflict.
