The RCMP team took home the trophy this year, beating out the firefighters 4-3 in a shoot-out after being tied in regulation time.

While we are thrilled to have won the round this year, the real focus of the game is raising money for two great charities: Cops for Cancer Tour de North and the Prince George Firefighters Charitable Society. We are all very glad to be able to give back to the communities we serve in such a fun and positive way, while engaging in a little friendly competition at the same time. In total, $6000 was raised and will be divided between the two charities, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

In keeping with tradition, Prince George Fire Chief Warner donned the winning jersey and made a donation of his own toward the RCMP’s chosen charity.

Once again, this event could not have happened without the incredible support of our community sponsors. A huge thank-you goes out to the Prince George Spruce Kings, P.G. Portable Toilets, Pattison Media, Flatline Irrigation, Pacific Western Brewing and Mr. Mike’s.

See you at the 2025 Sirens Cup, Prince George!
